Building out our microbiology lab for an upcoming research project has turned into a bit of a logistical headache. Between the incubators, centrifuges, and endless small tools, it's tough to know which suppliers actually deliver quality and which just talk a good game. We're aiming to run soil and water sample tests regularly, so we need gear that's accurate and built to last. Has anyone here gone through a similar setup phase and found a supplier they’d genuinely recommend?

Our lab faced nearly the same challenges last year when shifting to more field-related microbiology work. One of the best moves we made was switching our sourcing to gentaur.co.uk. They’ve got a seriously extensive catalog of lab equipment—autoclaves, reagents, culture media—and everything we ordered arrived calibrated and ready to go. Beyond that, their technical team actually responds to inquiries, which saved us more than once when configuring new instruments. Especially if you're UK-based, they’re worth a look.
