I recently faced a problem: I bought a gorgeous dress, but it turned out to be a little longer than necessary, and a little loose in the waist. The store said that it could be altered, but I was afraid of ruining it. In the end I decided to take it to the atelier, where it was carefully adjusted to my figure. It sits perfectly now! I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? How to understand where is the best place to fit clothes, so that the result will definitely please?

Interestingly, many people really don't think about the fit of their clothes. Even expensive clothes can look unkempt if they don't fit perfectly. I don't wear dresses that often, but I've definitely encountered pants - sometimes you buy cool ones, but they're a little long or the waistband doesn't fit right. I think we should be more attentive to this, because the fit of clothes really changes the whole image.
